By default, OE sends pictures already open. A workaround is to right
click on the pictureSend toCompressed (zipped) folder and attached the zipped folder. -- Bruce Hagen ~IB-CA~ "tylerd5" wrote in message ... Hi, how do I set up my OE so that a picture is just attached and no actually put in the message body?? |

By default OE will display attached pics (and several other types of
attachments) after the message body. The pics are not embedded in the message itself. -- HTH - Please Reply to This Thread ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE), AH-VSOP AumHa Forums http://forum.aumha.org Protect Your PC http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect tylerd5 wrote: Hi, how do I set up my OE so that a picture is just attached and no actually put in the message body?? |

By default, OE displays any image attachments (JPG, GIF, BMP) at the bottom of the message
text. This is a display only (not a duplicate attachment) and only affects what you see on your PC, not what the recipient sees. Whether the recipients also automatically see the image is dependent on their mail program and its settings. To change whether or not you automatically see the images on your PC, see the following article: Outlook Express Slide Show OE5, OE6 http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/slideshow.htm -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "tylerd5" wrote in message ...
