Send mail as other user
Hello there. My company recently converted from Notes to
Outlook and I'm having trouble figuring out how to do something that I used to be able to do with Notes. I occasionally have to send out correspondence to customers and I would like it to appear like its coming from someone other than me (a generic info@mycompany account) and also have all responses come back to this mailbox, which I have access to. I have so far figured out how to set it so that all replies come back to this box but all mail appears to come from me, which I do not want. I have also figured out how to send mail "on behalf of" this account, but my name also shows up on the message. Is it possible to accomplish what I am trying to do, or should I just admit defeat and use one of the other mentioned methods? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance -Chris |

Send mail as other user
You should be able to make yourself a Delegate for this other mailbox. Then, within an email message, go to View, From Field. Then you can send mail From this other mailbox (as long as you have delegate permissions).

Send mail as other user
Yeah, I've already tried that. When the recipient opens
the message, it shows as being sent "on behalf of" the main user and not as only being from the secondary account as I would like. Thanks though. -Chris -----Original Message----- You should be able to make yourself a Delegate for this other mailbox. Then, within an email message, go to View, From Field.
