Default vlookup question

hi

say i have colA and colB.
i m using vlookup (in other sheet) to lookup for values in
colA and returning corresponding value in colB. problem
arises when the more than 1 value in colB for same value
in colA. How can i get all the values of colB in such
cases.

Hi
you'll need VBA for this. You may have a look at Alan Beban's Array
functions
(available at: http://home.pacbell.net/beban) They include the function
VLOOKUPS.

"Incorporating the functions in a Personal.xls type file
will make them readily available whenever you are running
Excel."

i downloaded the file. but it's a regular excel file. wht
should i do with it.

Hio
you can either copy the macros to your existing workbook or copy them
to your personal.xls file. See the following site for more details
about macros:

Sorry, i might be acting dumb, but i m new to this.

I suppose i go to Tools/Macro/Macros.. to view the macros.
but i dont see any there???

Also, wht is this personal.xls file. does it already
exists in the system or i make one. (as i said i m dumb in
excel)
