Default Printing Word 2000

Hi,

I have a word2000.
I've created a document and I've put an image on the background.
Now when I print my document, I get all the text but I don't get the
background-image.
What can I do?
I know that in Word 2003 this is possible, but I was hoping it would be
possible with Word 2000 as well.

Thx

Backgrounds don't print in Word 2000, they are more for webpages.
Try inserting your picture as a watermark instead.

As Genine says, you'll need a "watermark" for this in Word 2002 and earlier.
See “HOW TO: Create a Watermark in Microsoft Word 2000” at
