Default "Missing" CAB file ?

New Dell laptop computer, running XP Pro, 2003 Office Small Business Suite. I
changed from Outlook to Outlook Express (for simpler home use) and began
getting message upon every boot up: "Managed MAPI catastrophic
Failure--unknown error". I changed back to Outlook, but error message
continues. Attempting to reinstall Office suite results in "cannot install
due to missing ZF561407.CAB file". Now I caanot use Excel because of same
"missing" CAB file.

Cannot find any references to location of this file which I assume is
critical to proble resolution. Any ideas??
thanks.

Did you search the software distribution CD?

Default "Missing" CAB file ?

I have searched both the Office CD as well as the XP Pro CD--not there. Have
also searched the Microsoft web site for any info on this file--nothing there
either. Contacted Dell (since it is a new computer) and they said it was a
Microsoft problem. Since I have an MSN account, I contacted them about the
problem--they told me it was an Outlook problem and I should check there.
Nothing at the Outlook web site.

This file is not on my computer or on the install disks. Now that I found I
could not run Excel at all (attemping to reinstall Excel fails due to lack of
this CAB file), I do not know what else to explore.

Any assistance most welcome--thanks in advance.
