Default works spreadsheet charting

How do you save a chart created in Works spreadsheet as a
chart. there are 2 reasons for doing this 1. to avoid
having to spend 5 or 10 minutes setting up all the
parameters again each time you want to look at it or to
use the chart as a template and 2 to move the chart into
Word as an object.

Everytime I try and save the chart it just saves the
original spreadsheet which is irritating

The microsoft.public.works.win (or .mac or .dos) newsgroup might be the
more appropriate one for your question.
