Default Disappearing appointments

I am still totally frustrated with this the appointments sometimes appear and
sometimes do not.
however i have another probably less tricky issue which is my Outlook today
home page shows me appointments which are not there when i look at the
Day/Week/month view?? any ideas?

no, no one has figured it for sure - missing recurrence pattern data is one
theory - and apple isn't talking.

We believe the itunes addin for outlook is behind the problem - there have
been problems with it in the past. Its needed for calendar syncing but not
contacts. Oh, and someone said they used activesync instead of itunes and
the appointments were fine.

I've compared all the fields for the meetings that ARE showing up in
Day/Week/Month view with those that aren't and can't see any
difference. Alert, no Alert. Recurrance, no Recurrance; Notes, no
Notes. Some meetings simply show up and others don't. Note, this is
with iTunes 7.7.0.43, iPhone 2.0 and Outlook 2007.

Default Disappearing appointments

Have you tinkered with the reminder and recurrence settings? Those are the
two workarounds for the disappearing problems. Removing itunes 7.7 and
going back to an older version may also help.

No, it has nothing to do with Outlook. There is something broken in the sync
process and outlook can't display them in the Day/Week/Month view. The
workarounds we are aware of right now (while we wait for Apple to fix the
problem) are to tinker with the recurrence and reminder. You can also use
the table view instead or try an older version of itunes.

To fix recurrences open the event on the iPhone and change it to recurring
daily then end the recurrence on the date of the event before you sync to
Outlook. also, set an end date to all recurrences - i.e., rather than go on
forever, set them to end in 2012.
