I may be thinking of something else, but I thought option groups in Access
started with a value of 1, by default. Are you working with a checkbox (true/false, yes/no, 0/-1)? -- Regards Jeff Boyce Microsoft Office/Access MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Microsoft IT Academy Program Mentor http://microsoftitacademy.com/ Microsoft Registered Partner https://partner.microsoft.com/ "syedalna via AccessMonster.com" u29806@uwe wrote in message news:6a4197433d699@uwe... Is the checkbox bound to an underlying field? Is the checkbox in the main
form or the sub-form? I don't understand "mark it down". How do you know when the checkbox should be checked? How will Access know when the checkbox should be checked? If you are saying that the checkbox should be automatically checked, then why bother even showing it? You could add code to an event that sets the underlying field to True. -- More info, please ...
