Default Sending pictures in Xp

You have to save the picture to your HD first, (EX: My Pictures),
Then, in Create Mail - InsertPictureBrowse to the folder and
OpenOK. Also, in ToolsOptionsSendHTML SettingsCheck: Send
pictures with messages.

Just got a new computer with Xp. Strange thing about sending

pictures.
If I want to forward a picture that I get as an E-Mail attachment
without the headers I right click on the picture itself and select
copy. I open a new mail message and set the cursor and select

paste.
The picture appears in the message body. I then send it to myself

at
another address. It comes back with the picture embedded in the

text.
I then get out of Outlook Express and reenter. The picture is gone

and
replaced with a red X. What's that all about??

Default Sending pictures in Xp

Hi Bob,

Thanks for asking the question. From the time Outlook Express became
available copy and paste of an image was not supported. This may now be
changed, however, as I was able to paste an image from Internet Explorer (a
saved file on my hard drive) and successfully send and receive the message
with the picture embedded.

A picture is not included with a message until it is sent. You might check
the message source to see if the picture that was pasted is still at the
path given. Also, is the picture coded in the message source?

I don't know if pasting, rather than inserting, an image is reliable.
