Autonumbers...

I have a table with an autonumber field. I routinely delete records from this table and add new ones using code. Is there a way to reset the autonumber to begin again at "1" each time I do this?

"If you care what value an Autonumber has, then you probably should not be
using an Autonumber"

This will do it: compact the database after the delete.
