Default "Suggest a match" from a list or drop down.

Is it possible to pull information from a database into another worksheet
without having the exact spelling of that information?

I have a database with names and addresses that I want to pull from. I want
to be able to start typing in the cell on another worksheet where I have
VLookup functions already in place and have that cell show me as I am typing
all of the Smiths that I can choose from without having to click on the drop
down arrow and scroll throuth 3000 names.

Any help?
