Default Calculating Text to Numbers

Thank you in advance for any help that you can offer...

I would like to be able to add up all the “Theatre” entries and convert them
to a number - ex. 2 are listed in the table, so I have a total of “2” Theatre
programs. So the "2" would need to appear in the form. Can anyone please
explain how this sequence should be done?

Create a query based on the table in question. Put the Theater field down in
the grid twice. Now go up to View and select Totals. (If you are using Access
2007, the last bit will be different). Change the second Theater where it
says Group By to Count. Run it!
