Pivot table or report with text fields in Data section

I enable principals using my A2002/3 database to call up a pivot table
showing the number of kids (Data section) by grade level (rows) who passed,
failed, stayed within 5 points of the same grade (columns).

I want to give them a second option where they can see the names listed
alphabetically in the same format of a crosstab table, showing which kids
contributed to each count in the previous table. Instead of conts in the
celle, there would be a list of names.

Ideas???
