link multiple cells from other workbook on another machine on network
I have an entire page I updated from a workbook in another page on another
computer on the network. I've figured out how to have it update an "image", but the the cells. I know how to link individual cells, but not a group. For example: I linked 40 individual cells to the 40 individual cells on the other workbook. Kinda took a lot of time. Is there anyway I can automatically link A140 on Sheet1 of my workbook to A140 on Sheet1 of someone else's workbook by selecting all those cells at once? Or do I need to do them all indivudually? |

I don't know of any way to do all the links at one go but you
certainly do not have to do each one individually. Create your first link by creating the formula in cell A1. Yhis will look something like =+[Book1]Sheet1!$A$1 Edit this to take out the absolutes ($) to make =+[Book1]Sheet1!A1 Then copy this formula to the required range i.e. A140 David On Thu, 9 Oct 2003 14:22:01 -0700, "Bryce" wrote: I have an entire page I updated from a workbook in another page on another computer on the network.
