Default translucent overlay in large cell

Ahh, another tricky one, or at least it is to me.

The boss has a car lot. each vehicle has it's own page, in adobe acrobat format, ( we'll get to that later) but he doesn't want to update the vehicle info on the original page he has created.
Instead he wants to have a page or template, or "a way" to have ... red letters redirecting the user to another photo / page.
Something I can lay over the existing page, translucent, so they can see the origina, but they can obviously see that the "redirected to:" letters are there.
Does this make any sense? If so, can it be done with excel? Please post or email me with any ideas. Thanks in advance,

- rightmer

You can create a Drawing Object with the Drawing Toolbar, such as a
rectangle, and put text in it to say what you want and format it to have a
color of "no fill", and even no outside lines if you wish and set the
"Order" as "Bring to Front" and it will overlay a picture similar to what
you're talking about............
