Default Hidden Objects in A2007

I haven't decided yet. Obviously it gets easier as you get used to it, and
I'm much happier with the ribbon since I discovered how to hide it so it
doesn't take up half the damn screen! However, trying to find less-common
options is a real pain. Is it on the ribbon somewhere? Is it buried
somewhere under the Office button, and if so, where? At least with menus
you could just work through them systematically 'til you found what you
needed.

I understand. The Ribbon doesn't seem to correct the problem of finding
things easily.

I'd also like to build a custom ribbon, but it looks like a real pain.

I agree. It seems as though that functionality would have been easy to add.
I always wonder why Microsoft didn't add the ability to hide the Database
window or disable the Shift bypass key on .mde files. It would make for
much better apps.

Haven't found a good "how to" yet, and I just don't have the time to
figure it out from scratch.

But, overall, I will suspend judgement until I'm more used to it.

No doubt and no doubt the bugs need to be worked out.
