Folder compacting interrupted
The Status bar also gives a message count and tells when a view is applied.

Ron
Message count yes. View applied was not something I was aware of. I only use "Show all messages" when it does not appear. I cannot see how it is helpful as it gives no indication as to which of the three options has been selected. I read offline and use Ctrl+H to toggle between Show Replies to my messages and Group messages by Conversation. In newsgroups all my posts are coloured red using a Message Rule. I never mark messages as read so it is easy to see what has been read. I rarely use the Watch option. I always download bodies. I know my approach is not one that is commonly used. -- Gerry ~~~~ FCA Stourport, England Enquire, plan and execute ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ron Sommer wrote: The Status bar also gives a message count and tells when a view is applied.
