In power point, I want to show a video clip, but it runs too fast. It works
fine in windows media player, but too fast as a clip in power point. Also ,
I want it to open full screen.

I've tried a hyperlink, which works, but the power point presentation stays
opn so I can't see the video playing

I think I can help you.

1) If you have PowerPoint 2007, start by getting the Developer Tab by Office
Button | PowerPoint Options | Check Show Developer tab in the ribbon.
Click the Developer Tab, then go on to step 2.

If you have PowerPoint 2003, View | Toolbars | Control Toolbox.
Go on to step 2.

2) Click the Hammer-and-Wrench button, and find Windows Media Player. Click
OK, then drag the cursor to make the object. Right click it and click
Properties. Double-click Custom, then Browse. Find and select you video, then
OK, and OK.

This is caused by the system using the wrong codec to play the video. My
guess is you installed software that included its own codec and is now
associated with the file type.

Solution 1. You can try re-installing Windows Media Player. This will
reset the codec's back to original.

Solution 2. Convert the video to a more PowerPoint friendly format. PFCPro
will take care of this for you and allow you to edit the video directly in
PowerPoint. (Along with a LOT of additional features.)
