Specific Printer Setting
I have created a report which I configure to print to a specific printer ( by
setting specific printer in page setup while the report is in desgin mode) but when I try to print from a other computer then mine, it give me an error message saying : This document was previously formatted for the printer XXX, but that printer isn't available. Do you want to use the default printer YYY?" The same printer is obviously installed on all computer. The only thing I can see that can cause the problem is that the printer is installed via iPrint (Novell server) but I have to change all driver manually since we did not manage to find any driver for Windows 2000 ( I need either the IBM Proprinter XL III or Epson FX-1050 driver whitch are driver supported by the IBM 6400 printer we possessed). The driver are on the Windows 2000 CD but without the .inf file the admin told me they cannot add the driver to the server. Anyone know why access keep telling me my specific printer isn't available? I am using access 97. |
