how do i use footnotes and footers together?
Whenever I have apage that has both footnotes and footers, the footnotes
displace the footers. I have the footnotes set at bottom of page, but if I set them for below text, it puts them half way up the page if that is where the text ends. So basically I want my footnotes at the bottom of the page along with my footers (which have the report name and page numbers). |

I do that all the time w/out difficulty. The footer is at the very bottom
of the page, the footnotes are at the bottom of the page above the footer. What problem are you having? What version of Word? Click ¶ on the standard toolbar so that you can see if there are stray empty paragraphs (¶s). Did you create your footers using View | Header/Footer, or just type at the bottom of the page? And make sure that your footer margin is smaller than your bottom margin.
