business card template
How can I duplicate one box of my business card template so all the rest of
the cells or boxes has the exact business card content without having to copy and paste each seperate portion in each box? My box contains a picture and a few lines of text and color background. |

Hard to say without seeing your template. In my case the template is a 2 x 5
table: copy and paste the entire cell once to complete the row, then copy the row and do ctrl-v four times. "DJ Andre" DJ wrote in message ... This is much easier to do in Publisher, where you create the card once and
print it many times, but in Word, just select the cell and Copy, then select the entire table and Paste. -- Suzanne S. Dear Jezebel,
Thank you very much for the prompt response. If you care to download my business card template, you will see that I am having problems copy and pasting the first cell so the entire cells have my copy so I can print it. http://www.djexplosionsd.com/theprog...bizproblem.doc I downloaded the template from microsoft then of course I changed the picture plus the info. If you can show me how I can copy the entire cell, I would be in your debt forever. "Jezebel" wrote: Hard to say without seeing your template. BTW, I have not the faintest idea what the photo is meant to represent. Are
you playing records underwater? "DJ Andre" DJ wrote in message ... Dear Jezebel, Thank you very much for the prompt response. I realized that I had to lock that horizontal line to be able to copy and
paste it properly. The way to lock it is first you need to click on it until three round hollow circles are place only on the line. I click on my keyboard arros left or right or up and down. This will lock it in place. Now I can copy the entire section. Then select the entire table once. And all the cells have my card display... Perfect! FYI, I am on a stage facing the crowd below. My back is turned away from the camera. And yes, those are turntables. It may seem to be water, but the smoke and the darkness probably gives that impression. But thank you for the critique. I would have never thought it could actually look like I am underwater. Thanks. "Jezebel" wrote: BTW, I have not the faintest idea what the photo is meant to represent. This may sound long winded but I had the same question. I found that the template has one 'grouped' image in the first top left cell of the table which is editable. First delete all the other cell content by 'blocking' and 'delete', this should leave you with the one image at top left. Now make changes as required, remember that if you use any default text or images, and indeed this should be standard advice, always 'ungroup' then 'group' all content within the cell. Highlight the 'grouped image and 'ctrl c' or copy, (right click, copy) Block all the remaining cells and paste the image. I found here that it created a load of blank cells below, you can either delete these afterwards or use 'paste special' from the edit drop down. Hope this helps Regards Phil M "DJ Andre" wrote: How can I duplicate one box of my business card template so all the rest of the cells or boxes has the exact business card content without having to copy and paste each seperate portion in each box?
