Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 Service Pack 1 (KB837009)
For some time now, this patch will d/l and install but it never asks me to
reboot. Now that in itself is funny. Even the page at Microsoft (after the d/l) says the patch was installed correctly but I know it is not. What can I do to really install this update w/o any further problems? I've researched this problem on Google and Microsoft's own Knowledge Base w/o any luck. Automatic update stop alerting me to install this after 2 weeks but each time I visit the Windows Update page, it's still there awaiting install. LOL. I am running Windows ME on this old comp. Yes, yes, laugh if you must but I need this thing patched up before I pass it down. |
