I rebuilt my computer, tried to register Office XP, but
it says it's already in use. What do I do?

Thanks,

You should be given the option to call a toll free phone number.
Call and explain what you did to the operator.

Default Activation and set up denied

I AM HAVING THE SAME problem....reinstalling my Office XP
PRO, I know no other instance is running...I am trying to
use setup in the CD rom..it is not running set up
automatically, and will not allow me to manually use set
up.

I removed Office with add/remove buttons several weeks
ago due to system problems...but now cannot re-use
or reload the program. Any ideas?
thanks
Karen

kAREN,
When you said "will not allow me to manually use set up"
please clarify, did you go to: run/type setup.exe with the disk in your drive?
Do you get an error message/number during installation, if so please post it.
