Default Why does Outlook close when I minimize the window?

This started a couple of days ago...Outlook will close without my exiting it.
When I click to 'minimize' the program closes....anyone know what setting
controls this?

Thanks,

Paul

I have the same problem with several notebook users in our company...

I did not realize if it happens when I minimize outlook or I close a window
(like e-mail or directory search).

Its closes unexpectedly and sometimes when restarted it shows an error
message issuing that my data file was not closed properly.

I found no information or KB about this behavior….

Anyone have the same problem? There is anything related to the new Mailbox
Cache mode?

Thanks

It does not close. It minimizes to the System Tray, just like you're asking
it to. Right-click the Outlook icon in the system tray and uncheck "Hide
When Minimized" if you want.
