Default All New Unique Power Point 2007 Question (repost as previous posts showed up on existing threads)

I've posted this question twice, and both times it has attached itself to
existing threads. I wanted it to be a NEW thread...so I'm trying again a
third time. My apologies...I've never run into this particular problem
starting a new thread before.

I have this software on a new Dell Portable. I've made a couple of wedding
slideshows in the past, and am in the process of working on another one.

I remember finding a utility or plugin that allowed me to drop in all of the
photos (all scanned and numbered in order first) directly into PP, creating
the need number of slides etc. Since PP 2007 is new to me, I'm wondering if
I need find a similar utility, or if the new version has that ability.

I haven't had time to play yet with the new version...it's on my list of
things to do this weekend, but any pointers would be appreciated. In the
past, I scanned all the photos and had them named/numbered (example 1001,
1002 and so on) and the utitlity to those files, all saved in one folder,
and easily brought them into PP. The last version I used was PP 2000.

Anything important I need to know about this new version before I start?
We're talking a typical Wedding slideshow, with a music file attached to run
along with the photos, most likely about 10 minutes long. The church we'll
run this in has a projector, so we'll just hook up my Dell portable and run
the show on the screen at the church.

TIA,

Melissa

Melissa,
I answered one of the previous version... Quoted he
As you have probably already noticed, there is a lot different in PPT 2007.
Including the Photo Album. Go to the Insert tab and choose photo album.
Select the pictures, give them effects and off you go.

Now, if you want to really have fun, instead of using the photo album, pick
one of the new picture layouts for your slides. Add one picture layout
slide, add the picture and then dup the slide for the other slides. Right
click the picture on each slide and select "Change Picture". Play around
with it... You might like the results.

Default All New Unique Power Point 2007 Question (repost as previous posts showed up on existing threads)

Thanks. Your post sent me in the right direction. I've made some headway
with the new PP. The Wedding isn't until late May, so I have time to figure
it all out.

Now all I need is a song for "sons". Girls are easy as far as finding good
songs...

Maybe:

And since the lyrics likely won't be *printed*:

Let The Son Shine
Here Comes The Son
Sonny

Somebody stop me ...

You missed: You are my Sonshine (which leads to the question... which is
better sonshine or moonshine?)
