Default Big Problem installing Office standard edition 2003 60-Day trial!

I have downloaded the microsoft office standard edition 2003 60-Day Trial,
but the setup doesn't work. I can't even install it after the download.
During the installation process a message saying "Error creating process
C:\DOCUME~1\COMP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\SETUP .EXE/ iexpress CDCACHE=2.
Reason: The system cannot find the path specified."
Please, if anyone could at least give me any tip about where i can find
information to solve or what should i do, it would be of great help and i
would be extremely thankful. I tried hard to search anything that could help
me on the internet, but i found nothing.

Thank you.

You may have a corrupted download - try it again.

I did it before (to download), like 3 times...and i just did it again, but it
didn't work.
I really don't know what is the problem. It seems that it has a relation to
another problem that occurs when I'm trying to update my msn messenger - a
similar error msg appears: "Error creating process
C:\DOCUME~1\COMP~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\IXP000.TMP\boots trap.exe. Reason: The
system cannot find the path specified." - but i don't know.
Please is there any other suggestion?

Have you disabled your AV when installing? Likewise your Firewall?

Does your Windows username contain any characters other than
letters and numbers (like a # sign or other symbols)?

I did disbled my antivirus, but it also didn't work. And yes, there is a #
sign in my windows username (if you mean by the user account name), but i've
renamed it, and it also didn't work.
I don't know whatelse to do. But i do appreciate your help.
Is there any other way to try to find the problem source?
thank you.

Actually, i noticed that when i renamed my windows account username, it only
took effect on the welcome screen and the start menu. How do i make it to
take effect on the whole system, if it is what i should do?
