Links cannot be updated message
Hi,
When I open a particlar workbook the message below comes up. "This workbook contains one or more links that cannot be updated. * To change the source of links, or attempt to update values again, click Edit Links. * To open the workbook as is, click Continue." I have checked all help/support sources and cannot find the reason. When I edit links and click check stsus its ok, when I go to source its ok. I have checked all the links and they are correct. The links are all automatic update switched. Option for edit allow updating. They are both .xls and not HTML. I can find no apparent reason for this mesage to occur. Any advice please? |

Download Bill Manville's FindLink.xla add-in. It can help you find any
link in your workbook (they can exist many places besides cells, e.g., defined names). http://www.bmsltd.ie/MVP/ In article , "Alan" wrote: Hi, When I open a particlar workbook the message below comes up.
