Default Opening multiple documents

For the past three years I have had a membership database output
individual member details as an RTF document The filename includes
each member ID. I use the contents for various purposes.

I have been in the habit of selecting the many documents and using
right click Open to have them all available.

Suddenly this does not happen and I am burdened with the need to open
each file individually.

For background infomation I use the same technique for JPG files that
arrive in bulk and need similar treatment before being used in web
pages. That still happens. They open in bulk.

What did I break?

Hi Robin-

I don't know that you 'broke' anything, but the right-clicking technique
doesn't seem to be supported in Word 2003... Not sure if this is an app issue
or an OS issue, but I imagine there will be someone come along to clear it up.

In the meantime, just do as you used to, but click the Open button instead
of rt-clicking.

BTW- Tis only seems to be a problem if in Word's Open dialog box. From the
desktop or an explorer window your way still works.
