Default Moving outlook files

I have office 2003 installed on an external hard drive
and I suspect that the external drive is failing. I want
to move the installation over to the main internal drive
but have several concerns.

If I uninstall and reinstall what will happen to my mail
folders, calender and contacts. Should I export them
first and if so how?

Will I have any problems with activation?

Thanks

Judith,

have a look on this site for save/backup your Outlook.

http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm#fileloc

The emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, notes are in one file (.pst file).
Search on the harddisk for *.pst files, but first read the Slipstick
website.

Also this site, if you want to move the PST file:
