Default Reports by Function

Hello everyone,

I am coming to a point where I need some assistance. I have a report I need
to build that has different metrics by function - FTE, Spend, Length of Time,
etc.

The issue is that they all have different field values, so FTE is by month,
Spend is by quarter, and I cannot include them in one query or data set for a
report. I am trying to figure out a way that I can use subreports but produce
the end report by Function. It would look something like this:

FTE
Hamburgers Month1 Month2 Month3 Month 4
Item 1 25 38 74 28
Item 2 249 222 110 293

Cost
Hamburgers Quarter1 Quarter2 Quarter3 Quarter4
Item 1 25 38 74 28
Item 2 249 222 110 293

-New Page-

Same thing with new food group

I don't think its possible, but thought I would check.

Thanks!

Your table structure isn't known to us so it's difficult to suggest a
solution. There is a solution for dynamic monthly crosstab reports at
http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=5466. This should be easily modified for
quarterly reports.

Are month and quarter your only options? Do you always look at four months
or four quarters?
