Default Automatic pagination is not working in Word.

When I come to the end of a page and continue typing, no new text is
displayed, nor does Word go to page 2. However, when I go to the bottom of
page one and manually insert a page break, everything seems fine and I can
see the rest of the text I originally typed.

I have 'widow/orphan' control selected under paragraph format. This just
started happening in the last few weeks and seems to act reminiscent of a
virus.

Thanks for your response!

Default

Go to Format | Columns and select One. If this solves the problem, you will
need to open Normal.dot and do the same there. See
