Default Set position of x axis labels

Hi

I have an Excel 2007 chart that is showing monthly performance for some
different teams. I have modified the x axis so, instead of displaying Jan
2009, Feb 2009 etc. it has one label, 2009, for the whole 12 months. I did
this by going to Axis Options for the x axis and setting the major unit to be
fixed for 1 year.

This works fine except the date is shown right against the left tick mark
(effectively the beginnig of the year). How do I get the label to sit centred
in the middle of the year?

Thanks

I did this in a tutorial on my web site:

Great tutorial thanks very much. In fact, your whole site is great (found an
answer to a question I had on Waterfall charts while I was looking!)

As for my issue, well that is far to complex a solution just to move the
labels. I think I'll cheat and use text boxes instead!

Thanks again
