How do I stop Check Names in Outlook? I have checked off the
Iam using IE and/or Firefox ono the web. Yes the install had worked for a
long time. Yes it is doing that, I am actualy in the computer industry and I teach it as well. Not this type of thing though. That is where it is and that is what it is doing. Info is being added through the address book if I want to keep it. This will happen when I try to send an email to an address that I have never used before. There is no information here.
Reposting the questions you need to answer: Outlook does not do that even when automatic name checking is selected. All Outlook requires is a valid address format. So I'll need the rest of the story: how you are entering the address, its format, and what step triggers the Check Names dialog.
