Default update to occurrence of reoccurring appt "not current"

HI:

I have a reoccurring weekly appointment in Outlook. I would like to change
this week's occurrence to a new time while leaving the rest of the series at
the same time.

I open the occurrence in Outlook, change the time and send the update, but
when attendees receive the update it is marked as "Not Current" and does not
update their calendar.

Does anyone know why this might be or how to correct it?

Thanks in advance.

I have an identical situation here as well. The client PC time and timezone
are correct.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
