error message
I edited a form in access, in "design" and when I try to use the form, I get
an error message "you cancelled the last action" and I can't get back in to re-edit or use the form. |

Can you not simply select the form in the Database window (without opening
the form) and click Design to open it in design mode? -- Regards, OssieMac "NUBIE" wrote: I edited a form in access, in "design" and when I try to use the form, I get an error message "you cancelled the last action" and I can't get back in to re-edit or use the form. |

You have probably changed the name of a table field in a control source.
The error you are getting (2501) will occur when you try to update a record, but there is an incorrect field name. there error is a bit misleading, but it is because Jet can't complete the request and sends a message back to Access which Access interprets as a cancel.
