Define/explain "not working".

Default Help button not working

When I click on the Help button that is blue with a question mark on the top
right of Office 2007 (Word, PPT, etc...), I get an error message that says
"Setup controller has encountered a proble during installation. Please
review the log files for further information on the error". Should I just
save my files onto my USB and reinstall the Office 2007?
Thank you!

In Word or any of the office programs, click the Office button in the upper
left, then click the options button at the bottom right of the new window.
Click Resources at the bottom of the list, then Run Office diagnostics. See
if that helps.

I did try that, i also tried to uninstall and then reinstall. Also, when I
run Powerpoint, and then close it when I am finished, it keeps reloading the
program. I have used Word for years and never had this sort of problem, and
I don't have the 45 to get help from the phone call option. I am stuck, have
any more suggestions?
Thank you,
Marla
