How to view jpeg images in-line in outlook?
I run Outlook 2000 (not outlook express) and if someone sends me an
e-mail with a jpeg attachment, outlook displays it as a generic clickable icon within the message body. When I double-click the icon, a separate app (microsoft photo editor) opens and displays the jpeg. This is very cludgy. Is there any way that outlook can render the image in-line - ie in line with the rest of the content of the message body? |

No, the sender would need to embed it in HTML. See
http://www.slipstick.com/mail1/inline.asp for possible solutions. (They may not work with Outlook 2000). -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: Do you keep Outlook open 24/7?
