Default outlook 2003 unexpected error and closes

This has started within the past few weeks. Everytime I send a message in
outlook 2003 I get the message Oulook has encountered a problem and needs to
close.
Do you want to restart outlook, etc,etc

Outlook restarts and the message gets sent.

When I debug I receive the message unhandled win32 exception occurred in
outlook.exe [5428]
in Visual studio it has the error
Unhandled exception at 0x77c46803 in OUTLOOK.EXE: 0xC0000005: Access
violation reading location 0x00000001.

visual studio line : 77C46803 mov ax,word ptr [edx]

It also happens when I click on a email link on a web page. (I want to
email someone and opens a new message box to send the message) I get an
error as well.

It's driving me nuts. I've updated, cleaned and search everywhere for an
answer. Anyone have any new ideas? Using windows XP, office 2003, SP3.

Someone suggested I delete the SRS files. Did it and still gives error?
