OL 03, disappearing calendar items; duplicate calendar items;
I have now been on the phone with MS for 1hr, 5min & have
been x-fer'd 4x. The issues are Issue 1 is similar to the thread below... When sending out a meeting, inviting attendees, on the tracking of the appointment in the sender's calendar it shows the attendees response as "accepted" even though they haven't replied. Nothing shows in the attendees calendar, so they def not accepted. Issue 2. A delegate posts a meeting to a calendar the delegate has rights to, and the meeting is there 1 minute, gone the next. The delegate has used two computers, both w/a fresh install of Office System, she has posted to two different calendars (two different executives) and both executives miss appointments because the appointment has disappeared. I have 1 delegate, two executives. Delegate has used two different Dell's both w/a fresh load of Office System. Exec's have TC1000 Tablet PC's. Native Exchange 2000. Ran the /cleanviews switch on local machines. Have found event id 8206 on the Exg. svr log which references " calendar agent failed with error code 80040229 while saving appointment." Anyone seen this? Have a fix? |

Look into the CACHE sychronization being a possible
problem. I do not recommend using cache for anyone using Delegate setups.
