Default how to change the number of lines shown in a task with autopreview

hello and thanks for reading this.
for each task, when using auto-preview, outlook only shows the first three
lines of the task.
how can i tweak it to show all the lines?
yes, i know about the reading pane but it does not suit my particular needs.
i have tried to customize the view and could not. i also checked with mskb
and slipstick.com and others but no answers so i am posint this.
thanks so much,
dave
