Default Word wrapping

I am using Word 2000 on Windows 2000 pro. In the body of my paragraphs
words will reach the right margin of the page and instead of wrapping down
to the next line they will truncate. For example...

In the body of my paragraphs w
ords will reach the right margin o
f the page.

What is going on?

Thanks
Dan

This is usually a symptom of a corrupted font (one that thinks it is a
symbol font, which can be broken anywhere) or a corrupt document (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm). In my experience, the
latter is more common.
