Default Month number output instead of month text

Yes the month is a result of a crosstab query. In fact its a row heading
with an alias - Month: Month([date]). I have right clicked on the
column in the crosstab query and changed the format in properties to
mmmm like you suggested but it still comes up as January and when I put
in the function you suggested it displayed error in the report.

Anymore suggestions?
