Default Copying data down 29,000+ cells---Shortcut

I have to copy a cell contents for the entire spreadsheet of 29,000+ rows. I
thought CTRLSHIFTArrow down key would highlight all the cells for the
29,000+ rows that contain data. But this instead took me to the end 65,536.
What are the shortcut keys for highlighting the cells for just these 29,000+
rows to copy the data rather then sitting on my cursor and highlighting all
the rows???

Thanks for your review and hopeful for a reply.

Thanks!

Hmmmm,

Ctrl+Shift+Down Arrow works for me...???? Excel 2002.

Of course this is no help for you, but that's the drill for what you ask.

Howard

If the column is blank, ctrl + shift + downarrow will select to row 65536

With data in A1 I would type A1:A29000 and Enter in name box.

CTRL + D to copy down.
