How to unlock word documents

I have tried everything but everytime i try to use my microsoft office word 2007 it says "The modification is not allowed because the selection is locked" please can anyone help me !!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I know, *Office Password Unlocker* is capable of removing ms
document passwords, including password to open and password to edit.

To rescue a Word document that has been locked,


*Open press F11 while holding down shift and alt (Alt-Shift-F11). to
launch the script editor in Word with the file opened


*Select the find option (or hit ctl-f), and run a find for the word
"password." This should highlight something liket his"32943208";

*Remove the letters and numbers between the tags


*Apply the changes made in the document in the script editor and close
the window.

*On the "Tools" pulldown menu, select "unprotect" Your document should
now be unprotected.

it that doesn't word, try a 3rd party utilities which is claim to unlock
password-protected word document like Word Password Recovery 5.0
