Does this happen in Internet Explorer, or Outlook Express?

If OE, go to: Tools | Options | Security and set OE to the Restricted Zone.
That should remove active scripting and do away with the error messages.

There is an option to select: 'Disable a notification about every script error' in 'Internet ExplorerToolsInternet OptionsAdvancedBrowsing'. This option is NOT selected in my settings and yet I don't notice many notifications about script errors, (however I rarely use IE). Which page is giving you the notifications?

The script errors you're seeing are on the website/page you're connected
to, nothing to do with your own machine unless you were the one that
wrote/uploaded them to the server.

You can turn those messages off, but for some reason I seem to have a
brain-fart and can't recall where to do it. I thought it was Internet
Options but I can't seem to see it; sorry.
Anyone else recall?

Also:
-- Please do not post in HTML format. In order for everyone to see
your messages properly and to save bandwidth, posts to newsgroups should
always be in Plain Text mode. That's adjusted in Tools: Options; the
Send tab, the News Sending Format.

-- In the newsgroups, it is also advisable to NOT use your real e-mail
address. Spam bots and spiders constantly crawl newsgroups and scrape
up any e-mail addresses they can find. The addresses then become a list
of addresses the spammers sell and/or use for their spam runs.
In Tools; Accounts; Properties, the News tab, in the E-mail Address
box, place a fake address such as invalid.invalid.invalid. Do not
change anything else. Do NOT just make up an e-mail address because no
matter how silly you might think it is, someone may actually be using
that address; you don't want to cause problems for an innocent
bystander, so be sure to use an address that cannot exist, per the
sample above. It will not cause any problems with your news groups,
posting or otherwise except spammers will not be able to scrape your
real e-mail address from the newsgroups.

HTH,

Twayne

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Internet Options | Advanced | Browsing

or in your Browser menu at top:
Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | Browsing
[*] Disable Script Debugging (Internet Explorer)[*] Disable Script Debugging (Other)
[_] Display a notification about every script error

Uncheck the error notification item.

(You're welcome.
