Using a public folder as an address list

We're currently running Outlook 2002. My mailbox uses three address books -- our internal global address book, a public folder contact list, and my personal contact list. About two weeks ago, it suddenly stopped searching for names in the public folder even though the correct settings are in place. We've recreated my profile -- didn't work. We've tested Outlook 2003 -- didn't work.

Any suggestions?

More info -- about 10 people have access to the public
folder; only I am having the problem.
