Pop up window about macros keeps displaying
Everytime I try to close Word I get a dialogue window with the following
message: The macros in this project are diabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the hose application to determine how to enable macros. How do I get it to stop displaying this message? Or what do I need to do? |

You're getting this message when you close Word? It normally appears when you try to open a document containing macros. If there isn't a digital certificate from the source in your trusted sources list, you would need to change the macro security level. You can do so by clicking Tools Options and the clicking the Security tab. At the bottom of the tab, there is a button that says macro security. Click on that and you will be able to change your macro security level. However, I always recommend that people not change the security level, because it leaves you open to macro viruses. Hope this helps.

This actually happens when I open any document. It is just annoying. I like
the security level idea, just not the annoyance. "wordprocess" wrote in message ... You're getting this message when you close Word? We started getting this same error after we upgraded from office 97 to XP. We discovered it actually had to do with the Adobe Acrobat toolbar. We had to uninstall adobe acrobat, distiller et al, then reinstall and the error went away.
