Default How do you break Excel links while keeping data?

Hi,

We have a file that is generatd by wonderware active factory. The file has
always been able to be read by clicking "do not update links" by other users
so they can just read the numbers off of the file. Since the upgrade to
EXCEL 2003 we cannot break the link while keeping the data in the file. When
we break the links we get #NAME? errors in all the cells. Any help would be
appreciated.
