Default Configure to send emails directly from applications

MS Outlook (windows 2000) no longer able to send
spreadsheets, docs or other files directly from the
application. Example, cannot send a spreadsheet from
Excel, get a message saying Outlook is not the default
mail client and to set it as such. Not sure how to do
that. Suggestions would be great, thank you.

Hi JHG,
please open your Internet Explorer, Tools, Internetoptions, Programs.
There you can use the default Email Client

What if you want an application to send mails on behalf of an account and you
dont want it to prompt the user before doing so?
