Default Check for new mail time interval has changed

I had to remove then re-add my Hotmail account from Outlook 2007. After I did
this Outlook now checks for new mail every one minute. The setting has always
been every 30 minutes. I've tried to adjust the minutes but Outlook seems to
ignore any number I use and still checks every minute. How can this be
corrected?

Much thanks,
David
